| I'm not one for following trends, but it pretty much seems xanga is over. For now. And I can't bear to read your posts in my subscription anymore. It scares me what you've done to yourself. I hope I never get to be like you. So I say au revoir for now. The only contact I will have with xanga for a while will be simply reading James Roltsch's wonderfully satisfying posts. So long, farewell... | | |
| Ginny is officially here to stay! Even with ear mites, fleas, an upper respiratory infection and a ruptured eyeball. The things humans will do for their cats... So she's having her eye removed and sewn shut next week sometime. It's for the best. | | |
| Today is a wonderful day! Not only did I get my schedule for the 28th street Coldstone (FINALLY), but it appears as if we are also adopting a small, one-eyed kitten! Hooray! Nothing is final, of course, but we're going to visit her tonight. Wish us luck! | | |
| I had another dream about Ellen DeGeneres last night. Only we were being abducted and hunted by aliens instead of brutally murdered inside a cave. And Jim Carrey was our gardener. | | |
| I really appreciate all of the love and support everyone has shown our family over the past few days.
Thank God, my dad is going to be fine. They're doing some blood tests, hoping to find out what caused the stroke, in which case they can finally make him better.
Your prayers worked.
I am, however, taking a week off to go up to Traverse City and take care of him for a while. It'll be weird to see him in a hospital, but I know that keeping him company is the best thing I can do for him right now.
Again, thank you so much for your support. It means a lot. | | |
